I love to eat bake bread. When i have chance to go to Old Town Restaurant I am very sure that I will order their bake bread which serve with butter and kaya.

It's has been quite sometime i didn't go there, especially after sold to another company. Ordered bake bread with butter and kaya... ER.......... this was the look of their bake bread with butter and kaya!

I can't FINE my butter and kaya...

I will NEVER ordered bake bread any more!! I paid for RM3.90 (not including tax and service charge) and this was what i get!!! This was really OVER, maximum profit is what they looking for but look into the QUALITY and QUANTITY of BEST FOOD! hm... so called International Business........

Josephine

I been pass by this Josephine Bar and Bistro every weekday. And did read from mylovelymummy blog, she also said not bad. Actually ho... i am not dare to try unless someone recommended. Still in Ipoh already 4 years, can't find any western restaurant that "gam" to my taste. hehe...

So, beh tahan liao, went there last night for my dinner. Alone.

Unfortunately, they don't have any Italian style soup. :(

Drink
I ordered for myself a banana milk shake. As i love milk shake and hak.. they have banana taste one. Taste really "banana"! LOL

Appetiser
I ordered a josephine fruit bowl. It's a mix fruits topping with fresh yogurt. The yogurt taste good, just i don't like green apple.

Main dish
I having spaghettini aglio olio. Spaghetti cook with wild mushroom and extra virgil olive oil. I love the taste. Especially the mix herbs and spice make the dish more aroma.

Ok...that's all. I am full liao just gam gam. i think i will bring my kid next time. Sure both of them will love the spaghetti very much.

The price... a bit expensive loh...

Breakfast

Jing love to eat American Breakfast. In Bukit Mertajam, each set in hawker center cost RM5.50! "kia si lang"! So I decided to make it myself.

Cute? Yang has Pooh and Jing has Hello Kitty. Yang totally NOT "appreciated" the "tree" that made from sausage. He insisted wants to change with Daddy sausage that's in original shape.

Mommy punya.

Daddy punya - the left over bread and etc...

All this no need RM22 pun... and i gave extra gift - the banana cupcake!

I successed!

At last i successed to make Banana Cupcake, recipe from RamblingMoo. And i put in baking powder as the last ingredient.

Here is before steam. I can make 7 cupcake.

Nice boh? all can huat!

Both my kids love it very much. See, Yang eating the last cupcake and i ask for 1 small piece. How "small" the piece he gave me!LOL

Steamed banana cupcake - failed!!

Hak! i failed!!

I knew why... i put the baking powder before i add in water, not with plain flour. So tak jadi loh... baking powder with water before flour... can not "huat" loh. Didn't about it. But when recall back, i make a big mistake. Jing and Yang said "yak... not nice!"

Will redo to night. Yang birthday's tomorrow, i want to prepare few for him to bring to nursery.

Hope i success.

Dried Lycee

Have you seen dried lycee before?

In my lab, a PhD student from Cambodia attached to here for 2 months and her husband brought it from their country.
Size, smaller than the actual size, about 30%.
Taste better than longan, because its not so sweet. Em... just natural sweetness. Oh... mean all the while, the dried longan that i bought was added with sugar!
