"Make Penang Breastfeeding Friendly" Campaign on 9 Oct 2011

I know i am LATE, but better than NONE, right?

Ok, this was a breastfeeding event organise by Penang Mother-to-Mother Peer Support (MMPS) in celebrating of World Breastfeeding Week 2011. During the event also MMPS run together 1 Minute Simultaneous Breastfeeding too.

I am one of the volunteer committee.

Event was on Sunday, 9th October 2011, 3:15pm – 5:00pm at Straits Quay (Jalan Seri Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Tokong, 10470 Penang). Free entrance, free refreshment, free face painting, and many exciting games and prizes to be won.

During the campaign, MMPS also launching “1 Minute Simultaneous Breastfeeding” event at 4pm. Total we had: 800 mothers and babies from all over Malaysia: 534 mothers and babies from 46 hospitals and 266 mothers and babies from everywhere. Breastfed together on 9th Oct at 4pm! Bravo to the supporter!

Knew what, YB Puan Betty Chew (President of Penang Pertubuhan Wanita Mutiara and wife of Chief Minister YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng) and Dato' Anwar Fazal (Chairperson Emeritus WABA) were there to support too!

Not only me so excited during the whole event, my 3 elder kids also enjoyed themselves very much. Jing and Yang having great time on hand and face painting, asking balloon from the clown, ate and drinks as they want. Mann was too busy playing at toys corner. Tanz was with daddy while mummy busy entertaining the crowd.

I am very prouded to myself during the “1 Minute Simultaneous Breastfeeding” event. By that time, back carried Mann in my manduca SSC and front breastfed Tanz. Woo...

BTW, graped the opportunity to go to Charlie Brown Restaurant too. Here was the bill for 2 adults and 3 kids! Told hubby that no more next time liao la, actually the price for the food is reasonable but for the drinks was too expensive! Mann kept saying:"mummy, see this!" "mummy, see that!" All are Charlie Brown cartoon characters up to ceiling, no wonder she was so excited! Haha...

The event end at 530 pm, after clean up we left at 6pm. All my kids slept till we get home! Wo... Mummy also super tired!

Oh, ya, even Amelia the writer for The Law IBFAN was there to support.

Hi.. I think i should update all in one post. Made the works easy!

We went to the beach at Sg Batu, Penang on Sept, 2011. It's Yang kiddy function. Too bad Mann didn't follow because she just recover for fever. Bring her to the beach is not a good idea. Jing and Yang having fun at there. Mummy and Tanz just sat under the tree and SAW the other kids playing around. Promised the kids will be there again and MUST bring Mann together.

Jing (8 yo and 5 mths)

Really a challenge for me! Her life just marks and competing, That's all! I wonder should I stop her to go to school? Away from those negative influence?

Yang (just reach 6 yo)

Having his birthday celebration at kiddy. He's happy that i bought him a Angry Bird's birthday cake. Then ho... no photo was taken, because i forgot to bring along the camera. Hm... let the sweet memory kept in his mind la!
Seem like he really HATES homework, he will refuse to do even need to write only 3 lines of sentences. yer... Headache!

Mann (2 yo and 3 mths)

hu... Now she really knows how to made simple sentences. Not consider speech delay. She is without any nappy during day time now,so more works for the whole family to remind her to go to toilet. Night, sorry mummy can't woke up lo.

Tanz (14 weeks) Weight:5.2kg Height:59cm

Yes, she is free from jaundice now since 10 weeks old,means no more to and from clinic every weeks. Yippy!
She increased 1 kgs in a mth.Not bad ha?!
Her head getting strong now. She can recognize her name and will search for it when you call her name.
She wants grandpa to carry when she noticed he is around. Will cry even cranky just because want to ask grandpa to carry. To where? jalan-jalan whole kampong! hehe...

Mummy (me la) is a SAHM now. Having enough time to breastfeed the little one. No more pumping, sterilize, keep, arrange, reheat... breast milk. Feel so GREAT now!! Daddy - busy bee!

MOST IMPORTANT THINGS - THE ELDER LOVES TANZ. HAPPY, RIGHT?

Jing. 8 yr and 2 mths.

I found that she's kept "changing". Never show any interested in any matter. Ah... the Malaysia education system did "trained" her like that. Everything, wait and the answer will "fly" to her! But one thing is good, she still done very well on her homework, no need mummy to keep call and call, just the same thing, very ugly writing. It's all my fault, when she is young i told her wrote in propel and right way enough.

Yang. 5 yrs and 10 mths.

Stickied to mummy only, like super glue! After delivered Tanz, more shows to watch. Even in kiddy he can cry looking for mummy... Cry every night,cause need to do his homework lo. He still not really strong at his wrist yet, so still facing writing problem. Need more trainings.

Mann. Reached her 2 yr old at 3 July!

But since I am in confinement so just had a small celebration for her. I bought her a new dress and daddy got her a new toy. She first very happy with her cake, but when asked to blow her cake, she's scared! May be due i kept on telling her fire is dangerous.
She is now can speak to combine 2 different words and trying to made sentences by using main words only. Basically i can understand lo. But... she's used pacifier so a bit "chao leng tai". LOL
She's love to sing. Now can sing half of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (in English and Mandarin), Wa Wa Guo （娃娃国）and Ke Ren Lai (客人来）.
She behaved very well even i delivered Tanz. So lucky I am!

Tanz. 6 weeks.

Weight:4.2kgs. Length: 53cm.
She knew how to smile! And when she is awake, she will look for someone to talk, sing and play with her. She will give you a very nice and beautiful smile! She love to sleep on someone arm. She can sleep for N hour if is on someone arm or beside mummy. Headache! I can't do any works!
Still breastfeed, very well. This moo mummy is feeding on her demand so never know how much she need and the time gap between 2 feeding. This few night, she's too full till she vomited!
She still jaundice, reduced very slow. But never mind, confirmed is breast milk jaundice. Since the level still above 200umol/L, so will wait till 6 weeks old then only allow to inject for Hep B jab.

Hubby and I - we are happy with the present of 4 kids! no 5??? LOL hubby is sweating!!!

My Tanz - Part 2

Then they cleaned me up. Everything happened too fast, the nurses don't have time to prepare anything before i delivered. haha... I was all wet, with my own blood.

I also asked not to bath Tanz wt any detergent, just used plain water. The mucus will absorb by herself. Then ho... here come the midwife, again... "Can we use olive oil to remove all the mucus from your baby? PROMISE won't used any detergent." See... they still don't understand what i said. "Okay..." I HAVE TO say...

I stayed on my bed till 8pm. Taking my dinner on the bed too. Almost 6 hours on bed! When my granny, mum, aunt, Yang and Mann were here to visit me, I took the opportunity go to toilet. Then we went to visit baby in nursery room. I fainted in front of the nursery room! Don't asked me why, I just feel dizzy and fainted like that. When i woke up i was on the bed surrounded by 4 nurses and my family. The nurse checked my BP and I am normal. So wonder why i fainted! Luckily I stand beside hubby and my aunt was behind me to lean on me and also another by help to hold me too. Very scary... my first time...

Actually I am the one kept asking the nurse, is my baby woke up? Already passed 6 hours and she must be very hungry now! The nurse opened her eyes so wide and speechless... I think I am the only after giving birth mum will ask such question, and i am not sleepy yet mah. I am so excited to have my no 4 ler...Wahaha...

Actually the most dangerous part was - Tanz was birth with cord on neck, 2 rounds but very lucky it's loose. I wonder if i insisted want to gave birth at home, what will happen! Hubby sure very panic lo... And he will blame on me if anything happen. :p

then... oh... then...started my brestfeeding journey again!!!

I am enjoying with my breastfeeding moment! (Hubby said i am crazy!!)

BTW, no dought, my baby again - prolong jaundice... AH...

Welcome, my No 4!

Here come my no 4, Lee Tanz.

Arrived to this world on 21st June 2011, afternoon.

With the help of Dr Narinder from Island Hospital.

Unfortunately, daddy on his way to hospital didn't managed to witness her arriving. Again...

When i knew that i am pregnant, i already started to search around a better, comfort and relax way to deliver my baby. i had very bad experience when delivered my no 3!

Crossed my mind is HypnoBirthing. I search for info and asked friends, got the information's as much as possible just want to show to my hubby. But he said NO! Too bad, he said he can't accept birth at home!

Fine, i told him that what i want - a natural birth - no physical or chemical used during the whole process of labouring(Until today i still believed that the pethidine jab cause Yang become like that. Made me so guilty...). AND i choose the way i wan to deliver my baby.

Very lucky, met with 2 friends - Woon Sing and Loh, both of them recommended Dr Narinder Singh Shadan in Island Hospital, Penang. I was 36 weeks pregnancy when i found out there is someone who can help me in such deliver way. BTW, Dr Narinder is the first O & G offering water birth in Malaysia.

When i went to visit him by myself without hubby because i need to talk with him to find out how he can help me in the way i want to deliver a child before i convince my hubby. And YES, he is the "helper" tat i am searching for. (So call helper, because i want to deliver my baby all by myself with hubby, gynae is the one stand beside to help only. I still believed that i can have a very smooth delivering!) Dr Narinder asked to bring my hubby along during next visit, he want to talk with him too, teach him how to prepare if any emergency happened.

Hubby went along during my 2nd visit. Dr Narinder done an vaginal exam to estimate when i can deliver so that hubby can be prepare when not to go for outstation, even cannot go to Ipoh. :P And same as what i estimate next week... Dr Narinder can't stand the question that i asked, i listed, so he gave me a natural birth plan list to fill in and asked me to return to him next week, so that he can be prepared when i admitted. The plan was as the same plan that i wished too. I need to sign and hubby too he need to sign to agree what i wish for.

Ok,another weekend, need to complete the final preparation including adjustment of the furniture. Sorry, i am not the pantang type so tak ape la.

By 21th, midnight, the mild contraction started. Not sure is the time the truth contraction or the false alarm again... can't sleep for the whole night... so concentrated my mind to finish my work before went for maternity leaves. I still go to work in the next morning. Hubby fetch me on 10am for another visiting to Dr Narinder. again he done the same thing ot me, and wah la... the real show started, started dilated. Darm... we didn't prepare my bag yet. Dr Narinder estimate will be in the late afternoon, so he asked us to go home and get everything prepare. Who knew, when we away from Island Hospital just less that 10km i told my hubby:" honey, you need to turn back to hospital now, the contraction is getting stronger and stronger." As usual, hubby started panic la! After he drop me to the hospital, he went back to get my things immediately.

In the labour room, i asked not to be tied so that i can be free walking till I want to push my baby out. But Dr Narinder asked to be monitor for 30 minutes because he need to estimate from my graft when to deliver. Ok, this wasn't the happy experience or service that i get from a private hospital. I was tied on the bed with the monitor for 1 hour, no body come to check on me in 2 hour, i wasn't told which bell to press for emergency, all the nurse seem "disappear"! I got down from the bed by un-detach the monitor and i started to walk in the room while chatting with my family. I need to inform them. Meanwhile i called my hubby asked him to be in the hospital as soon as possible, may be i am going to deliver anytime. I want him to be with me.

When sister Christine came and checked for me i asked to see Dr Narinder immediately as i can feel that my baby is coming very soon. She quickly call for Dr Narinder and asked her girl to change me. Can you imagine they are switching labour room for me and ask me to walk. I walk from room D to room C, by myself. Once i reach to room C, i "crawl" onto the bed and get myself changed. Actually i still wonder what position i should be in to deliver my baby. But the due to the strong contraction i was in the doggie position, so i just choose this position to deliver my child. It's too pain i can't even move my body or change my position by now!

Dr Narinder never expect i can be dilated from 3cm to 10cm in 2 hour time, including the water bag burst by itself. When the time he arrived and he want to checked on me how many cm already dilate, i remember i told him "Don't touch me!" Aiyo... the contraction so strong and you still want to check how many cm dilated... haha... and he really not touching me, but i gave him a big shock, i told him "I am going to push now!" Then just in 2 pushes, baby head is out, he told me in gentle "tell me when you have another contraction"... "is coming..." another 2 pushes my baby is out! "Turn yourself into position, i will pass you your baby."

OMG, my baby is on my arm now. Opened her eyes and just look at me. I just hated it when the nurse put the tube in her mouth and made her cry, have to do so because a lot of mucus in Tanz's mouth. The she is on my arm till my hubby arrived, that's after 25 minutes. I have to cut the umbilical cord by myself, Dr Narinder also laugh with me, i am the first mother who cut the baby's cord (feeling like cutting intestine!), that time the placenta already detached by itself and the palpitation already stopped.

When my hubby arrived everything already done. He missed it again. But three of us having great first hour to be together. Tanz even lick on my nipple before want to open her mouth to take her first taste of my milk. That's was the great moment in my life! (If i am getting no5, i want to be like that too...) until the midwife came in and told me that my baby in getting cold need to warm her up now. :P

Then i was told to wait again...... I found out that during that time Dr Heng's wife was in the labour room too... so i bet all the nurses were in that stupid labour room to entertain her and left me behind! Who is Dr Heng? one of the doctor in Island Hospital lo! Taking epidural and end up with vacuum lo... what's the point!? Again i gave a very bad feedback to Island Hospital lo.

No jab at all, baby and i free from all physical and chemical use. I think Tanz will have a better life!

As Island Hospital offering 3 days 2 nights package. I really had a nice rest before going home.

I am without any episiotomy done, and just a very minor tear. It's heal in 4 days! What a great!

Mann is going to 21 mths old lo!

This is me, Mann.

I love dye curry, same as Yang.

Mummy is back! Must try hard to open the door for mummy.

I am watching my favorite VCD, don't disturb me, please.

So lazy to update about her.

Finally, she is going to 21 mths on April 2011.

What she can do right now:

1) She started to talk. Calling everyone she know, basically Papa, Mama, 姐姐（elder sister）, 哥哥（elder brother）, 阿嫲（grandma）, 爷爷（grandpa）, Wu Wu (Should be 叔叔，uncle), and 姨（auntie）, including some basic words like 喝水(drink water), 要，不要（want or don't want），这个（This one），排（stacking blocks），开（Open or other meaning move， please），yiyi （dirty），坐（Sit），kaikai （walk walk），Hot, 擦（mop or wipe), etc. Still can hear she is in her own language.

2)She appreciated when anyone gave her somethings, she will say Xie Xie (Thank you.)

3)Love to sing. Every morning (when i am not at home), she will choose VCD and asked Ah Ma to play for her. And usually she only will sit there for maximum 15 minutes only, then it's become background music for her. She loves Chinese New Year song and Ai YoYo teacher teaching English VCD.

4）She can eat by herself now. She just loves soup. I don't mind she meshed up, i want her to be independent and enjoy every meal.

5)Still on cloth diaper. She still don't understand must use potty or go to toilet by herself. But she will pull the cloth diaper out when it's wet.

6)Loves to bath. Anytime and anytime also no problem.

7)She loves to smile to everyone. Especially her Chicky smile made everyone want to pitch her, this is what she hates!

8)Knowing that when daddy and mummy is going to work and when is the time to go walk walk.

9)Others than daddy and mummy, anyone change their cloth, she will grasp on that person leg or stand beside the door or bring her show to ask anyone to put on for her. Then she will started to wave bye bye to everyone.

10)She love to disturb Jing and Yang because she want to write or color too.

11) Loves story book especially those have a lot of words. She will point it and READ by herself i her own language.

12) She love to wear beautiful cloths. She will started to dance when i put on her a cloth that she never wear (usually belongs to other kid's cloth). She don't mind 2nd hand cloth,even when you told that the cloth belongs to A, B or C.

13) Loves to play with adults shoe. She will wear the shoe and walk the whole house, especially high heel with Kik Kok, Kik Kok sound.

14) By the way,she know how to unwear herself. She just follow what the elder do, including standing to pee because she saw how Yang's pee before.

15)Don't like sweet and sour things. She loves bitter food, especially bitter gound.

16) Still don't like to eat fruits except banana. Don't ask me why, i think because it's sweet. Luckily she loves to eat vegetables.

17)No more night drinks! Wa hoo!!! She can sleep from 930pm to 730am, only once in a week woke up at 530am to ask for milk only.

18) Still want her pacifier to go to bed. Very hard to wean it, but at least she is not looking for it whole day. Takes time.

Coming 13th April is her next check u p at Klinik Kesihatan Berapit. Want to know how she is now because almost 60% of her Chinese New Year cloths become so short.

I am in Palms SportBars and Grills, Subang Skypark Airport Terminal 3!

It’s my first time in Subang Skypark Airport Terminal 3, taking my flight back to Penang. It’s Winter Festival tomorrow, I need to rush back even the meeting not yet finish. Sorry Dr Abu, family much more important.

After the long meeting, I left Institute Pengurusan Veterinar at Batu 11 Cheras at 515 pm and I reached here at 620pm. My flight is 930pm!! I need to wait till 8pm for check-in. What should I do to kill my time? Sit and read? Having a lonely long long dinner? (hope can get a handsome guy to accompany? Hahaha…) woo… there is a Bar and Grill to kill my time, listen to “live” song, enjoying my dinner but too bad can’t take any alcoholic drink.

I am in Palms SportBars and Grill; it’s located at near the arrival area, the last lot at the left. Very unique designs which not support appear in airport.

I ordered Cranberry juice and Black Pepper Chicken. The food was ok but I still can’t finish. Price is reasonable.

He is Mr Aziz, should be shop owner, I think. He can sing anytime he wants and can go in and out from the restaurant if he wants. He has a very nice voice and can play very good guitar! What a fabulous dinner for me. Ai… my darling not around…. If he’s with me, what a wonderful dinner for both of us.

So next time when you are here in Subang Skypark Airport Terminal 3, don’t forget to spend your time here.

I am pregnant wt no4!

I should post it much more earlier,but don't have the mood the write a blog.

I noticed it when the morning sickness started to show. My period just skipped few days only so assumed due to stress,but who know the morning sickness gave me a big sign.

I was still on training when i started the vomiting show. Kept me run on and off to the toilet every half an hour! On that day too, i bought the cheapest pregnancy test kit from Guardian and tested it at 12 midnight, just can't wait til the next morning.
And IT"S POSITIVE! Can u see the clear 2 lines?

I knew my hubby won't be happy when i told him that i am pregnant again. He is the type don't like a lot of kids, but i love to have more kids. Still have informed him, he has the right! He was the one contributed half of the chromosome to form a life. Surprising, he gave me a green light!

It's also took me a few days of think before I informed my family, especially my mum. She didn't support her daughter to have a lot of kids too. Showing me sour face when i told her, what a bad reply to me! Others were so happy with the news.

I know, my mum just scared that i can't handle all 4 without a maid. I didn't plan to get a maid yet, at least is now. First,it's too costly. Second, can't guarantee can get a good one. But who know later on, i really need a maid. It's very hard to get a local maid as while. I wonder why local people not interest to be a daily maid.

Fetus is 11 weeks old now, and still giving the morning sickness! Hormone changing! AH......

Went to government hospital for the regularly checkup and everything OK. I also gatal-gatal check-up at private clinic, done the blood test too, and gave a big shock - my thyroxine is a bit high. Never done any blood test with the previous 3 on thyroxine so never know is it due to pregnant or my thyroxine already high before pregnant. I need to keep tracking on it. More works! Started the diet control from that day too,hope that can be normal after deliver.

I hope that this time I can have enough budget to deliver in private hospital because I want to kept the cord blood and umbilical cord. I think you have heard about CryoCordMSCs, not just collect the cord blood but the cell at umbilical cord can be culture and the usage is much more wide compare to cord blood. The technique not really mature yet, but in one day... It's expensive, but it's worst since my No.4 will be my last baby. Will find out more from them. Total for CryoCord plus private hospital deliver package, ~ RM15k!!! Need further discuss with hubby. All these budget not including confinement lady and dairy spends yet. Woo... not cheap ha, to have a baby.

When I informed my 3 kids about it, Jing not really happy with it. I knew she need to divide my love to her Again! Yang was the one exciting about it. Mann's still blur blur to what i am talking about. But Jing gave me a green light after 1 week and she hope that this time i can bring a brother to her. I hope so too.

I hope that i can have a boy this time. Then,it's will make up double good for me. hehe..

REVIEWS: Baked Bread in Old Town and PappaRich

I love to eat bake bread. When i have chance to go to Old Town Restaurant I am very sure that I will order their bake bread which serve with butter and kaya.

It's has been quite sometime i didn't go there, especially after sold to another company. Ordered bake bread with butter and kaya... ER.......... this was the look of their bake bread with butter and kaya!

I can't FINE my butter and kaya...

I will NEVER ordered bake bread any more!! I paid for RM3.90 (not including tax and service charge) and this was what i get!!! This was really OVER, maximum profit is what they looking for but look into the QUALITY and QUANTITY of BEST FOOD! hm... so called International Business........

Last 2 week, when KittyCat was back to Malaysia, KittyCat, Alice and I we met at PapppaRich. And see the different of their baked bread. My Yang enjoying it very very very much!!!

OK, PappaRich I will be back. BTW, the price is same at Old Town too.

Time just flied so fast, now he's 5!

I almost forgot his birthday. Hehe... But luckily he reminded me. He can't exactly know which date is his birthday but he will ask when his birthday is.

I bought his am under the sea birthday so that he can celebrate at his kindergarten.

When I appear at his kindergarten, his teacher asked me to hide at next door she wants to ask Yang whether he still remembers today is his birthday. And the answer is HE DOES NOT! Ha-ha...

When he saw me bringing the cake, he just jumps up and down! He's too excited till can't concentrate on what people asking him to do.

OK, teacher asks him to choose 4 friends. So he chooses 3 friends and count himself in to make it 4. Everyone knew what teacher talking about and kept telling him he should only count his friends without him in, but ho... He still doesn’t understand! Faith!! Repeated 5 times till teacher showed him with her finger.

Now, he understands when he needs to invite 4 friends that he shouldn't count him in as friends. LOL (Now, you know why I am sending my Yang to that kindergarten. His teacher was so pation to teach him or try to make him understand the real situation.)

But he forgot to invite his girl friend! Yap, he has a girl friend, should said his dream girl! Few weeks ago, Yang refuse to go to school because his dream girl was sick and absent for few days already. His reason - if I go to school I didn't see her, why should I go to school again? Hubby and I, speechless. I told him if he didn't go to school he won't know hid LYT returned to school. Then only he prepared himself to go to school.

All the kids sat round in front of him and they sang birthday songs’ (3 different languages, Chinese, Malay and English). He even sang by himself.

Then, he blows his cake but before they started to sing the songs he told his 4 invited friends, "Later please don't blow the candles, I want to blow by myself." His 4 friends knock their head.

After his blow the cake, every kid tried to RUN to the cake and wants to HELP him to remove the decorations. The teacher RAN to the cake too before it's damaged by them. LOL

Kid still is kid. They love birthday cake! Especially butter cream, unfortunately the teacher removed most of the cream due to its artificial colour.

At home, I celebrated with him too. But daddy needs to work so we only celebrated by you only. This is an Oreo walnut birthday cake. Taste good but too expensive!

Yang, hope you growth up happily forever!

PINK Festival

Didn't you attend the PINK Festival on 18 Sept 2010 at Youth Park, Penang? If not... aiya... you and your kids have missed the great opportunity to lishen to the world famous professional storyteller telling story for you, and it's free.

Daddy was busy, but still i decided to bring 3 kids to there by myself. I just don't want to miss the chance! Won't regret! Last minutes, my mum also wants to follow because she just worried to my 3 kids, later my auntie la, my father-in-law la... called me asked whether i can handle 3 of there by myself and i answered my mum was here too,then only they "released" me from the call. Am i look so "fragile" that i can't take care of 3 by myself? Actually they never knew that i have them out by myself several times before. LOL

We reached there about 1020am. What me sick about it is that there are several parking lot but the guide refuse to let us park with the reason want to reserve to the VIP. HELLO... Why only VIP reserve to park in front? First come first serve and if you knew that you are VIP you should be there early since the festival started at 10am. End up i park at a non-parking lot with other 2 cars and one of the lady told that guide that 3 of our car not going to remove our cars since the organiser not solving the parking problem so well! So we just leave our cars...

First, where to go... i try to find the big map, unfortunately, the organiser didn't do it. I have to ask around where to get the activities booklet, where is the tent, etc... At last, I manage to found the tent due to the mandarin storytelling is going to start very soon. Who is Mandarin story teller? He is Mr Ng Kok Keong, want to know who is he, i gave you his Facebook link.

From 1100-11430am, my kids was in the mandarin tent lishen to Mr Ng telling 聊斋的小故事. Surprisingly, my Yang can sit still for 30 minutes!!! and my 14 months old Mann also can lishen for 30 minutes!!! Jing was 7 years old so is at the "shy" stage, Yang still don't know so he just expressed his feeling anywhere! Mann, if it's not interesting sure she want to leave by making noise,but luckily none.

Then we moved to Mdm Jeeva Raghunath's tent. She is one of world famous storyteller! Even some worldwide internationally company invited her to give storytelling to their staff (ADULTS!!) just asking her to distress their staff. She is very good in making animal sound, mimic cartoon sound, and marvelous voice for singing! When she sing, Mann was dancing!!!

After that, we move to Dr Magaret Read Macdonald's tent. Yang asking is she own the McDonald company? I said no this is not that McD uncle. LOL. Dr Magaret travels the world telling stories and teaching others to tell. She is the mantel to some number of world famous storyteller! She even hold a PhD in Folklore and author of 60 books! Dr Margaret was in different style, she love to involve kids when she is telling a story. Kids love to be called by her to go state! LOL

Ok, is time for lunch. I just wished that i can go somewhere to have a good lunch and can go home la. I am tired... But ho... my kids knew it, so they chooses to stay there for their lunch although only have 1 stall selling fried rice and mee, they still want to have lunch at there. Off cause the foods... nyak... another complaint i wish to make is i can't find any plain water stall!!! Luckily i brought a lots.

After the lunch , we move the British Council tent to lishen to another world famous storyteller, Cassandra. When she telling a story, she will involve all the audience "into" her story. Everyone have to "move" follow her story. My Yang was so excited, because he can "move" not just sit still. LOL.

After each session, kids who have PINK booklet are allow to claim for 1 sticker. If can accumulate 6 sticker, you can get a PINK Festival key chain. When my kids accumulate 6 sticker, first thing they want to do is to change the key chain before proceed to another tent. LOL

It's afternoon, most of the person already left and my kids have the chance to get their free balloon! Pity the volunteers, have to flip the book to make the style what a kid want. Bravo for them!

We left at 220pm. It's too late for my Mann to get a nap and look like it's going to rain too. Yap, when we were in our car the rain started to fall. Lucky us!

But i am so regret that we can't stay till 6pm because at 430pm there is the FINAL SHOWCASE FOR ALL STORYTELLER at Main Tent!!! Never mind la, meet you all next year in KL! That time my Mann going to 2, she can stay whole day also never mind,i think.

A great weekend for my family!!!

Penang Bird Park

It's national holiday - Malaysia National Day. Happy Birthday Malaysia!!!

So, where should i bring my kids to? hm... Penang Bird Park la! It's located at Seberang Perai, just 20minutes from my home, at Bukit Mertajam.

3 of them knew that I want to bring them to Bird Park, so before 8am, they all woke up without "mummy alarm"!

They were so excited!!

Since my colleague gave me the Buy 1 free 1 coupon, the entrance fee can save me RM22.50! Adult was RM15 and kid was RM7.50.

We arrived at 10.20am. At the ticket counter, we were told that the birds show started at 1130am. Means we have 1 more hour to visit the whole park. More than enough time for my kids to run around.

So,all about birds!! I can heard them keep calling:"Mummy, you see, here have... There you see, here have... Wah... Wah... this one so colorful, that one is black..." They really enjoyed themselves!!!

During the birds show, another exciting things for them. What they really enjoy were when the parrot,owl, horn bill and eagle were free flying on our top.

During the photography section, Yang was the brave one, he kept asking want to hold the birds, especially the great giant parrot. The birds weight was 1+kgs!!

Before going home, we stop at the restaurant for our lunch. The price is fare. We also try the fish and chip cause according to the bird park owner, he just caught a "Shang Yu" yesterday, guarantee the fish is fresh! haha...

The funniest part, you will given a buy a soft drink and get 1 free souvenir. Never heard this offer before, usually is buy a souvenir get a free soft drink.

Hm... Mann just slept on my hand after she was full. And the others 2 also slept on our way back home.

What a meaningful holiday!

Chicken Farm!

Hey! I just graped the chance to go to a commercial chicken farm at Tasek last 2 weeks. Oh yes, with my 2 elder kids, Jing and Yang.

It's 1pm in the noon and the Sun is above us. But this never stopped my kids!

Actually I just want to meet a friend at McD Auto City, then the officer in charge asked me whether want to follow them to chicken farm. I asked my kids and sure la never say NO. Both my kids didn't follow my car, they prefer to follow my friend with bus. mmm...

We arrived at the chicken farm around 230pm. The weather was very good (not a rainy day.) but it's HOT!

It's a place out from town. At the side of Banjaran Tengah Malaysia. Very green.

You can see butterflies, dragonflies and lady bug too. See how clean that place is. This is a ayam kampung commercial farm. The chicken were allowed to move around when reached 1 month old. So you can see the chicken is running here and there.

Jing and Yang throw a question to me - why they hardly see lady bug around our home? Em... again need to explain on environmental pollution topic again to them. I kept educated them about how to grown in green but kid never understand if we, adult never show them. Their experience not much, very hard for them to made any imagination.

The farm was inside a oil palm estate. Usually estate will be full with grasses but having the chicken running around, the estate is clean! Surprise! The owner said never expect he can save money on cleaning off the boost.

Both my kids now know how a commercial farm look like. It's totally different from what they learn from book, chicken are not free running! And Yang knew the different between cock and hen now as Jing explain to him.

It's taken about 2 hours to finish the trip. Both of them so thirty! Bad mummy forgot to bring tumble together. hehe...

On the way back, both of them fall to slept la. My ears at least can have peace for a while.

Jing:"Today school has singing competition, so we all gather in the hall."

Sorry for the late update. I was too busy...

Ok, day before Mann's birthday hubby and decided to held a small family party for her. Since Jie Jie and Kor Kor has once before.

So what's the menu? We bought a 1/2kg cartoon cake, Sheng Li fried chicken (taste 1000X better than KFC), fruit juice too (too lazy to made myself.), i cook fried Mee diao (a teochew must have birthday dish), red egg, vege curry, Korean BBQ fish, and my sister brought some junk foods. That's all.

Who were invited? Total just 17 ppl. What a small family, and i should have more children to contribute a bit to Lee's family?? wahaha...

Ok, i told everyone the party will be start at 6pm. And everyone was waiting for hubby to get home till 7pm! Dun ask me what he have done, i already very "hot" with his excuse!

Mann's started to made noise once hubby brought Jing and Yang together,but not with her. They went to get the birthday cake, fried chicken and fruit juice. She was so UNSATISFIED with what daddy done. Grandpa brought her walk with motor bike, she refused! Ok, walk around the house, she started making noise after 5 minutes. I drag her to take a bath, after bath, still cranky. When Ah Ma's arrived, ok, she can behave well for 10 minutes. Then arriving of others guess. She just refused to play with others. Aiyo... so yao sheng kak! When daddy's back, she insisted want daddy to carry her!

Then it's photo section, snap snap snap...it's digital camera so can snap how many i want. After snap, we all finished the food in 30 minutes! Kia Si Lang!

Mann is turning 1. Wah... time just flieddddd.... i just believed that!
From the moment i knew that i pregnant wt her till now, it's really a fantastic experience or memory to me.
I have to go through terrible morning sickness, even need to admitted, the horrible experience delivered in Penang Maternity Hospital (What a suck hospital!!), sweet memory when she first latch on me (unfortunately just 9 mths she allowed me to be milk factory. What's a sad!), excited memory when first meet with Jing and Yang (Yang was so disappointed when i told is SHE.), then her first smile, first turn, first crawl, first cruising, first word (off cause "mom mom" first,means food. 2nd word is mum mum. No more Pa Pa first like Jing and Yang.), first tooth, first walking (in very short distance.)... all these happened in one year time only. I just can't believe it!
After 6 hours old, she suck her own hands to show that she wants milk.
She started addicted to pacifier after 2 weeks old, mummy just can't start she wants to be nurse 24 hours! I am not a good mother,i trained her with pacifier.
She can turn when she just pass 3 months old.
By 4 months old, when she sleep she rolled the whole queen size bed!
Since 5 1/2 months old, she started to have her first tooth. Till today, she have 6 of them!
Her first food at 6 months old - rice frank. She can eat a lots! But till today she still so mini size!
Since she's 8 months old, she started call "mom mom" when she saw any food. Then she called Mum Mum and Ah Ma after woke up. (Ah Ma means Grandma. My mum take care of her when i am at work.)
She crawl when she just 6 months old. She start to learn to walk when she just 7 months old. She holds and walks. Today, after 3 days from her 1 year old birthday, she's walking! She's just stand up and start to walk at least 3 meters! Refused any help!
She started to show her naughty temper when she's at 9 months old. She understand that she can have everything she want by showing her naughty temper. Headache! She even started to disturbing Jing and Yang by this month. What's Jing and Yang doing she also want to follow. haha...

Ok, I skipped 10 months old progress "report", lazy mah...

She is 11 months now.

During 10 months first week, she knew how to stand from sitting position liao. First she sitting, then she squaw, then she stands by her own, with free hand. She giggled when she mange to stand up by herself.
2nd progress, she knew how to blow a whistle!

During 10 months second week, she knew how "write" on paper. Jing and Yang need to do some homework, to avoid Mann disturbing I need to find her a Jumbo pencil and some paper. She just loves to "write” on paper. But after 3 days, she rejected the paper I gave and want to "write” on Jing or Yang's book too. I started "consult" her liao CAB NOT WRITE/DRAW ON THE WELL/FLOOR... ONLY PAPER! I also offer her magnetic board to draw, she just love it.
2nd progress, learn things very fast! She knew how to use remote control. While pressing on it, she will look at TV, DVD player, even air-con to see whether any changes bo. Jia Lat!
3rd progress, she reached height as TV cabinet. So she can take whatever thing beside the TV cabinet.

During 10 months third weeks, she started to show that she want to eat by her own. gave her some baby biscuit in a bowl and spoon too. So she can play with it for 1/2 hr, mean everyone can be FREE so 1/2 hr. LOL Beside that, she started calling "mama" when looking for me. Just melted my heart!

During 10 months forth week, she can walk 2, 3 steps! When she stands by her own and anyone beside her she will walk toward him. While she walks, she laughs by her own. Seem like she was enjoying that moments!

Fully 11 months, oh... I can see her 5th teeth liao! And started to making more noise or cried very very loud like someone beat her just because she can’t get her thing by her own or fight with Jing and Yang for things she want, even it’s not for her. She was so manja to daddy!

Jing's Progress

She is 24kg only and 124cm tall.
Quite tall but too skinny, not enough food? May be. Or too stress?

She is 7 now. But think like 12 years old girl. Quite a lot of supposed mummy has to do things she will complete for me or start worry about it, including Yang's progress. That's why she is so stress, created she the tension!

She is a smart girl. I no need to call for her to review her study, do her homework, eat, bath, playing, reading... I only have reminded her to do her work. No shouting for her. I even stop checking for her homework, everything will be done perfectly.

Ok, she still monitor in her class as her form teacher said she can finish/complete her homework very soon so she can help her in many ways, like helping the other friends, carry books, etc. Teacher never tough her HOW to be a monitor, so normal way lo, she will shout to friends to ask them keep quiet. Then she started to write those "naughty” friends on the board and later teacher will punish them. All these made her friend “hate" her! She started to show her unstably behavior/bad temper since April. She is facing social problem with her friends now! She never knew how to express all these unhappiness and end up she fight a lot at home! Fight with the brother, sister even Ah Ma. So lucky that I got my transfer back to Bukit Mertajam and I can over seeing my 3 kids all by myself. Teach, guide, even share with them from now on. It's serious on my girl case! Almost every night she fights in anything’s!! Making me nut!

What should I do? I talk with her day care teacher about these and she also noticed it. So we came out with the conclusion, my Jing not only in a very stress situation but also she wants my attention! The first thought came in my mind; I am not a good mother! She’s understood what I have to do for Yang; I need more times for Yang and baby, and just I never care about how she feels. She stills a child and she needed my LOVE too. I just always think that she is a "little adult" to me. Poor Jing! Manage to talk with her in privately, she cried and cried and cried, and I promise her that I will always find some times for her and also want her to tell me that she needs my attention if she feels that I am less time for her. She stopped fighting with Yang now and can help me in guiding him to do some works too.

While, in her social part, I just told her my experience and I want her to think how to solve it by her. She can suggest the method and I will discuss with her. So far, she has solved most of the problems especially with her friendship part. Can you imagine what a miracle if I put myself down as a parent and talk with her like a friend!

Yang's progress

Ok. I think it's time to write something about my Yang.

He is going to 5 this coming Sept. He’s just 18kgs and 107cm tall.
Still very fair even always put him under the Sun. I prefer boy to be dark!

His journey:
1) Can't sit in one place very long. Personally I think his recent teacher can't control him. Last year 丽诗was very good, my boy can follow whatever she said even he nagged but still he will follow. He just too "smart" to "mark" someone that he can bully. The new teacher seem always tolerate with him, so he climb up her head liao.

2) He still can't really concentrate on what teachers teach/inform. Example, teacher asking to wear red tomorrow. He didn't understand but he will wear in red a day after because everyone wearing red the next day. And very proudly speak to the teacher "see, I wore red today."

3) Although I never expect my kid can be an A++ student, I just want them to have a very happy childhood. So he’s really enjoying his life.

4) Every night, if there was any homework’s, it's the time he and I kept "negotiating". AH!!! Just will make me crazy! Due to he's too tired, may be.

5) He went to Enopi math for sometimes. I can see his improvement in caughting up 1-10 and can count 1-10, even write. Can count by say only up to 1-100 but can't recognize yet.

6) A-Z still needs improvement. Mommy to work hard on this.

7) Chinese word - he knew some and starting to write his own name now.

8) Still asking him to use Jumbo Stabular pencil. Easy for him to grab.

9) Bought a lot of Montessori set as he play in ACS class. Hope that he can pick up something and also I can train his fine motor skills when plying with it. Exam, 几何，shape。。

10) Surprisingly, he will open any book right now. He's favorite - the children encyclopedia. Always I have to read to him, but Jing and Mann will join too.

11) I have to always update with his teacher about him on anything. So that in kiddy, teacher will help him a bit. I can’t' expect teacher just concentrate on him but at least teacher understand why sometime he act so different.

12) Start asking me how to have his own baby! I told him he must get marry first and his wife will get him a baby by combining his sperm and his wife's egg. Co-insidenly read him an article that drinking coca-cola will kill sperm so he won't drink any soft drink now because he wants his own baby. Wahaha...

13) Will eat and drink anything that mummy offered. Still drinking oat milk with bottle. I think he's still missing the breastfeeding time.

14) Love his young sister, Mann, very much. Sleep also wants to beside her. But with elder sister - fight a lot, like cat and dog!

15) Need to practice 感官训练. Em...really take my times to pujuk him before start using gym ball.

16) He told me that he want to be Bob the Builder - can build house for mummy, Handy Mandy - can fix things, Policeman - helps to society, Fireman - rescue the house, and Army - can hold gun! So never ask him can he manage to do all this when he grown up. Because his answer will be CAN. His explanation - when he frees he can do other things mah...

17) Can follow 90% my instruction when I ask him to take something for me. It's a must to him; this is to train his to follow instruction. And sometimes, he will answer me like this “Can’t u see I am busy right now? Please wait!" in a very serious look!

18) Stick with me like leech! Sleep also mummy, eat also mummy, drink also mummy, bath also mummy... except poo poo, he will asked me go away because himself also can't tahan that smell!

Here was the chapatti,dal curry and cha that i brough back from Ipoh. Babysitter specially made for Yang. He ate 3 pieces of chapatti with his favorite dal curry and finish 2 cups of Cha. He miss allthese so much...

I was sick since after Chinese New Year. On and off,on and off, non stop cough with phlegm. I wonder am i allergy to somethings? Want to go the allergy test but ho... too expensive la and then end up taking anti-histamine medicine only. Last night, i felt so cold and woke up at 145am. Why? I had fever! Again! Last Monday alsoi hav fever.

Not just me, Mann too. The phlegm seem never go off. I changed her Babynet formula to Oat milk, seem working. Allergic to formula.

Yang, this 3 weeks also on and off fever. But only for 1 day after taking medicine because too high. Infected from nursery? may be? or from me? Now in his nursery, chicken pox virus is circulating. Will he infected too?

Jing, due to the teacher in school don't allow them to drink water, so ashe lways complaint she 's headache. That teacher's NUT! The reason she don't allow kid to drink water because she scare that kids may spelt water on the book. What a non-sense reason! So what to do, ask my gal drink water during rest time.

Fat and Thin

I wonder that is anyone you would like to have a fat kid?
Personnally, i prefer a thin kids more than fat one. Easy to carry and look healthier.
But not so thin la.

All my kids just normal only, but i wonder why still got someone complaint that my kids too thin. Then continue critic, i didn't gave them enought food la, must be due to i send them to nursary whole day la, i didn't give them the best formula la...etc.

1. At home, 3 of them ate a lot! Same potion as mine. I will make sure they have enough nutrition, vege is a must (potion like my full hand), fish or meat(either one, potion like my full hand too), tao hu, egg, etc. Rice is a mixture of white rice and multi grains. Before each mealthey willtook a bowl of soup and after meal 1 - 2 hr will serve with fruits.

2. The elder 2 went to full day nursary but don't mean that taking not enought food (actually compare to home lesser la.).

3. All my kids are not allow to drink formula. They are taking oat milk plus Amway protein. Everyday will have 1 multivit, 2 vit C, 1 spoonfull of flaxseed oil and 1 spoonfull of grape seed oil.

All my kids healthy, enought la. Who said FAT kid is healthier?

So what should i do? Continue kept my ear shut!

What is her progress?

1. Still cruising.
2. Knew that is she cry she can get whatever she want. Headech!
3. Want to eat everything if she can and you fed her!
4. Knew that when mommy say "it's HOT!" and she won't touch it.
5. Night feed still 2 times. I am tired!
6. Crawl here and there, especially loves to chase for jie jie and kor kor.
7. Sometimes, "free hand" then fell down lo! May be she thought she can stand with 2 feet. Wahaha...
8. Don't like sip cup, so using straw type bottle to drink water.
9. Loves to play flash cards.
10. Showing mommy "milk" sign when want to feed.
11. Loves to go "walk walk".
12. Hates stroller! But loves carrier.
13. Very jeoulous! When jie jie or kor kor sit on mummy's lap, she will chase them away! Once sit on mommy's lap and never want to leave.
14. Love to smile!
15. Totally weaned from McB! :( Made me feel so so so so... bad! Due to babysitter emergency admitted in hospital so have to leave her to my mum in kampung. So in a week time only, she rejected my McB! But still drink from EBM. Why? Don't know.

Went to Zoo Taiping on 14 March 2010.

It's the Big Day of my colleague to get marry. She is an Indian, a Malayalam Indian (Pure Blood). For your information, nowadays Indian still followed what their parent said. The wedding was held in Taiping. So take the chance to go to Zoo Taiping and also visiting my auntie since I didn't join the family gathering past CNY.

Jing and Yang were so excited! After return from the wedding ceremony, both of them "automatically" request for lunch and go to bath! Because I said only can go after lunch and bath.

They jumped and jumped in the car on our way to zoo. It's so crowded! And now only I realized its school holiday! Then, it's started to rain. Of cause not a heavy rain la. First I decided to cancel the trip; I can see the disappointed "wrote" on Jing and Yang face! Hubby said waited for 10 minutes if the rain getting small then we goes. Both of them were so happy. Off cause the rain was getting small.

The ticket was so expensive! 2 adults and 2 kids cost RM40! Woo...

We didn't go with cruise because it's so crowded. So we walked.

First is Owl, wild cat, bird, lion (its roar! wah... so loud), tiger ... and Yang favorite animal - Giraffe. He even asked to take a photo with the giraffe too. Then, rhinoceros and hippo, I been arguing with him before about hippo and rhino. Here is the golden chance to show him how the two animals look different. And Yap, he knew it now! He even waited want to see the hippo, because it's rainy day hippo hiding in the water.

It's took us two hours to finish the whole trip! Hubby and I felt like kaki patah liao, but when look at Jing and Yang, its worse lo!

Where is Mann? She was with my mum at my auntie house.

Yang:"Mummy, where is the big big lampu?"

Mummy abd daddy:"huh?"

Yang:"Where is the big big lampu?"

Mummy:"huh?"

Yang:"You see,it's dark outside, where is the big big lampu?"

Mummy and daddy get it and laught till we cried.

Yang means THE SUN! Wonder why he got such ideal - Big Big LAMPU!

Mummy:"I explaint to you before why causes day and night. Now you tell me... Why it's dark out there?"

Yang:" Because the earth move, moon and the sun didn't move. So dark lo."

Pity him, i explaint too "deep" to him. Hehehee...

Mummy:"Just because the earth rotate so u get day and night. Because ... again my lecture to him."

She just love to eat. See she can smile so nice when she is having her favorite food.

Woo... time flies... Can't believe she is 8 months old now!

Ok, what she can do:

1. "Cruising"! So have to always keep an eye on her, not really knew how to sit from standing position yet. Sometime ask for help by yelling!

2. Taking more milk and formula now. Can eat one whole bowl of plain porridge, carrot, potato, and cereal. Showed yucky face to broccoli. Haha... Try fish, and she love it. Can finish one whole adult palm size pomplete!

3. Crawled the whole house and "exploring" everywhere in the house!

4. Love to "taste" all kind of thing that she can grip with her little hand. Paper, lizard shit, cloth, book, anything’s! Em... I have to hide everything in the cupboard with lock.

5. Knew how to open drawer! Just notice this morning. She observes what I done and she tries it! I notice it when all my/her cloths in the drawer she put all out and find the more attractive color to put in her mouth. Faith!

6. Will never go to sleep if the light still on and Jing or Yang still around her. She will ask them to play with her or she will cry lo!

7. Only want daddy to carry when daddy is with Bjorn carrier on! (Daddy was so sad!) Because it's "walk walk" time!

8. Knew to pronouns "mama" (calling me la! ask for breast milk) and "mam mam" (call for food!)

9. Can wave to say bye.

10. Still showing stranger anxiety.

11. She had 2 tiny teeth coming out liao. She bit my nipple and of cause I flick her! Now NEVER bit because she knew I will flick her. hehe...

Love to sleep on my hand. If i carried in this position for 2 hrs she can sleep for 2 hours. but my hand...

She knew that drink the water from this point since can't open with her hand even she try to throw on floor also can't open, she used her mouth lo!

Last night I attended a dinner that held by Menteri Besar Perak. It's Perak dengan Penternak 1 Malaysia.

But ho....

Stated there started 7pm. But ho, turn to another page, 815 pm then only MB arrived... (wah... 1 hr 15 min for the guess to arrive? just 1500 ppl only with invitation card, no outsider ok!)

Ok, we waited...

Eh... what is the different between table serve with glass plate and plastic plate?
here i showed you the dishes served with plastic and glass plate.

ooh...only for 3-4 person dishes...

Wah... enought for 10 person lo!

See the different. Plastic plate table ... only cater for 3-4 person only but the table was for 10 person seats!

Noticed or not, said was 1 Malaysia but the food were so "Malay". Penternak from whole Perak mah, should have more variety dishes and NO BEEF!! SUK should knew that!

If i am the farmer (penternak) sure i will ask whether i need to SPONSOR some meat or not!!

Complaint no 2:

MB actually arrived at almost 9pm. Since most of the guest arrived before 8 pm so the RAKYAT have their dinner first beside waiting for the VIP.
When the rakyat finished their food then only the MB 姗姗到来。
Even Timbalan Menteri Kementerina Pertanian Datuk Wira Mohd Johari Baharum had to wait for him!

Pity all the VIP, they can't have their dinner until the MB reached. Means last night those at VIP table taking dinner very late lo.

And the anugerah didn't finish yet when my watch showed 11pm! Sorry, i am leaving liao, baby want to sleep!

Yang's Progress

I noticed that Yang learns thing very slow. Exam, when i teach him 1, 2 ,3, he can't remember it. No matter what kind of method i try. Why? dunno. He's in 5 years old kiddy class now, and he can't recognise all 26 alphabet yet.

So hubby and i start to search and read book, Internet, even refer to paed.

From the book we read, we notice that Yang had the symptom of ADD (attention deficit disorder) not hyperactive or autism. We refer to child psychologist too and he's still monitoring him.

The child psychologist teach us to play some games with him especially with gym ball so that Yang can coordinate his brain with what he do with his hand. And also massage his whole body with brush. Yang need to redo all the motor sensory skill and manage his behaviour.

I also found BOLD to help me on this. In BOLD, the volunteer help in train him in many way, playing games and etc. I can see most of it is Montenssori methods!

Yang still under monitoring, hope he is OK. I not expecting i had a genius kid but i want a normal kid that the social won't look at his as an adnormal kid, that's all.

She is 7 mths old now! Fast ho?

What she can do?
She can:
1) By now she is able to sit unsupported quite happily and even able to push herself up into a sitting position with her arms
2) She have started to lunge forward from a sitting position for objects that are out of her reach.
3)started to crawl (broadband too slow can't unload the video... sayang...)
4)Not long gabble and smile at anyone and everyone she met, but she's now getting a lot more picky about who she talks to and may distrust strangers. Showher stranger anxiety, especially separation anxiety, being more clingy with me and fretting or crying if i leave her.
5) Yap,eating some solids now. Start wt Holle porridge.
6) This week, she starts "cruising"-walking while holding onto furniture or other objects - Jia lat! So soon...

Cute? She has curly hair!

Jing first day to school!

Jing is 7 this year! (Oh my God, time just flyyyy.....)

She is in Standard 1 now. She will be in Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C). Chinese mah must learn Chinese lah!

Already 3 days in school, i found that she really can adapt herself in different environment very easily.

Day 1 -

Early morning she went to day care with aunty. Brabra...(activities in day care) 1230noon teacher send her to school and i wait her at the gate. She just said hi to me and hang me then went to hall by herself. (I am waiting for her manja to me, but none!) She Q up in her line. I went to her, took her photo and asked her a silly question - "Everything OK?". She asked me to go home! ( I am waiting for her manja lagi, but again NONE!)Then the principle brabra... I am still waiting for her... told myself will leave her after "watching" her arrived in her class. Then she went to her class and i left. Told her i be back during her reset time. ( i am waiting for her manja, asking me not to left, but NONE!)
Then i return before her rest time. I wait outside her class. And KPC Kiasu mummy went near to the window and snapped some "inthe class" photos. Hehe... She didn't noticed pun. Then the bell rang. Bring her and her friend to canteen, and i start tonag again - "I already paid the canteen aunty, she will serve you food everyday. You have to sit at the seat that already label with your name. You cannot buy any junk foods,vitagen, ice cream, biscuit... because sweet and high carbohydrate food will meke you feel; sleepy andyou can'tconcentrate in the class. Why high carbo and sweet food make you sleepy? because they will turn into glucose or sugar and you body need to use it, but you only sit in the class so the only thing to burn your extra sugar or glucose is to sleep. Understand? Oh... BTW, you have to finish you food include going to toilet in 15 minute only. Ok? " My Jing said:" Mummy this is the N time you told me. I know." and her friend gave a very weird look. Am I explain too "deep"? Show her where she need to go, and she just waulap everythings in 5 minutes (a plate of rice with 3 kind of vege. No sausage, egg and even fried foods). She was so excited because at last she found one thing that she can buy - the fruits. She knew i won't said can't lo. Then she ate a piece of papaya. She already finished 2 things but her friend not even finished her rice yet. Then still have time, they went to toilet. After settleher down in the class, I left. Still, didn't show her manja to me. "bye bye,mummy" she said.
Then i return at 5pm. Lucily i found my friend's friend to fetch her to my mum house. (During working day, i will be in Ipoh mah.) Can't believe to my FIL who said want to take of her,i wonder what will he gave my Jing as dinner. Sure after 3 days Jing will get sick la. Not because of he gave her bad food, but only gave Jing the food that she love lo - those foods that i won't gave to her lo. Then my Jing just followed aunty Soo to my mum house. Just like that!

Day 2 -
I am in Ipoh already. Back to work bacause need to attend a very important meeting. FIL promised will "visit" her belove grandchild in school during rest time and during go home time. He told me Jing very "steady" - she can go to canteen by herself, buy her own fruits after finish her foods. And even can go to the Koperasi to buy 2 exercise books. No need to worry about her. (I found out from my mum - Jing manja to her grandpa to get herself vitagen.) During going home time, FIL missed the time. He went to school too late and my Jing already on the way backto my mum house.

Day 3 -
"mummy, i am the class monitor!" She called me. Woo... my Jing... really not to worry her ho!

I am too buzy to update my blog nowaday. So i am late!

Mann is 5 and 1/2 months now. Big girl lo.

Now,what she can do
- on her on tummy so that she can search for her victim, to carry her.
- request more milk now but i can't produce more due to the previous mastitis. So she have to supply with Babynet formula(organic cows milkbecause i want to minimize the intakeof vaccine and even animal hormone.)
- start playing little games like hire and seek and love to made the wawa sound wt my hand on her mouth.
- love others praise her.she will laugh very loud.
- sprouting her first teeth! So she just love to bite! Especially to my nipple! OGH!
- become clingy and anxious around new people and may cry if a stranger suddenly approaches her. So call stranger anxiety.
- Kor kor and Jie jie love her so much! Buying anything,must have another set for her too.
- Still Yeh yeh (Grandpa) is the best guy for her because Yeh Yeh cancarry her 24 hours.

Mann's curly hair

Today is 17th Nov, so Mann is 4 ½ months now!

I never crop her hair tillbotak. Just let it be as natural asit can be. But ho, you see - She had curly hair! Gene from where? Now only I knew that my mother in-law had curly hair.

AND This is what I always wish for and at last one of kid had curly hair. Hehe… No wonder I always asking myself why her not “standing” one ha?

My eyes big enough?

With my FIL in the car, Mann will never sit in her car seat. FIL said kesian to Mann kena ikat.

"Who are you? Why you are in my territory (house)?" Mann will stare to you if she doesn't know you. Scary ha!

She just loves to on her tummy, anytime! So that she can see, i think.

"Why elephant have long truck? I just love it!" said Mann

This is the only thing i have to say YES to Mann. I HATE pacifier! But without it, Mann refused to sleep at babysitter place and even in the car. I am so terrible - cheating my own baby! :(

She's been practice this style for almost 3 weeks when she knew how to turn herself on tummy.
First 2 weeks, this kiasi mommy need to woke up almost every hour tocheck on her, but now, she slept i slept! LOL

Yap, she is 15 weeks old now! Time fliy too fast - mummy getting old liao. hehe...

What she can do:

1) smile and laught too.

2) will cry if she dun want u (aiyo, ppl want to carry her also have follow her mood!)

3) She can turn on tummy since 10 weeks! But that time head can't leave on too long yet,now can leave it on for 1 minute.

4) Night time sleep on tummy. No matter how frequence i turn her back, she will turn on her tummy again! And she knewhow to change her head position fromone side to another side.

5) Not just turn on tummy, she will try to move if she put anything in front of her.

6) She loves flash card! Oh... and book too!

7) Bad habit - must have pacifier then only can go to sleep. Off cause, if "live pacifier" around sure she will only attach to me. She will cried to find me! Or in nanny house, have to sumbat with pacifier. If not she can awake from 8am - 8pm!

8) Still breastfeeding! Mummy almost "dried"! In 12 hours, she need almost 28 oz! each section 3 - 4oz! Usually 4 oz. em... all my stocks almost finish liao. Need to pump more!

9) She is having fun with her pacifier. Holdby her own hand and pull in and out, and she laught! Cute little one!

10) Love to bath. She will be very quiet when put in bath tub.

11) Love to sleep on her tummy. Turn by herself.

12) If i am around, sure she will looking for me to go to sleep. She will show her "qi cham" face to me! LOL

My Mann is 2 mths old liao.

Ok, about her:

Mann loves to smile when anyone show silly faces, funny noises, sing a song, even just Mann to her also can make her grin and giggle.

Her head become stronger that allow her to hold her head up. Especially during bath time, kiasi!

Never sit in the stroller. Cry like hell! So, that stroller i bought since Jing'stime until now still nobody using it. can sell it?

Can reconize Yeh Yeh sound who loves to carry her whole day! Yeh Yeh said she can slept nice in the boucer so he let her slept onhis hand for 2 hours! Mummy also no eyes see.

Breastfeed time stable a bit liao. But still, mummy feed on demand.

I bought one size CD from Sandra (Mia Bambina). Want to try the Gro Baby System (since the shell can be use repaeatly) and Kissaluvs Fitted (Chanel and Chinnee told me more absorb).

There, i received it on 8 Aug and it took me 3 days to wash and dry 3X, weather not really good in BM, Penang. Look nice leh!

Just now want to try on my Mann, first trial on her. So tiny, it's cute! Right?

But ho, just after snap the photo, she made big business!! So, first trial on solid. I should buy 2 set!

Today Mann's 1 month and 3 days old.

Confinement lady went back on last sunday. So mummy had to take care of Mann all by myself. I need to bath her, feed her (feed on demand), change her, entertain her...

Her progress...

She woke up, first want to be feed. Searching left and right looking for mummy McB. 1, 2, 3, still not coming, then she will start with "ek, ek," sound, very softly sound. Then after 5 second, started " EK, EK, HEK, HEK" sound, louder sound. After another 5 second " OGEK, OGEK..." CRYING liao... So let her cried, if i am busy in the toilet or cooking.

After feeding, need to entertain her! Talk with her and play with her, if she didn't back to sleep. ON MY hand , OK? neverever think about put her back to the bourcer.

When Yeh Yeh at home, he just LOVE to carry once Mann making noise. Tu lah... now Mann habit - can't put her back to bourcer is she is awake.

See, she refuse it!

As i am in the hospital to repair my episiotomy (actually not episiotomy but tearing!), so not bring Mann together. My confinement lady,my mum and father -in-law will take care of her.

Icprepared 5 X 2 1/2 oz bags of breast milk, Adiri bottle and event pacifier and formula milk. Just in case mah!

So when i return (i was away from 7 am to 5 pm),she's drinking off 3 X 2 1/2 oz bags breastmilk, MUST suck pacifier then only can sleep (my mum said between that timejust slept <4hrs.) , formula milk not used (who want? Snow 0-12 mths formula), only drink the breastmilk from bottle when really hungry...

Pity my Mann! She MISS my McB! and Just now when latch on McB, she's SMILE! Hubby also beh tahan! LOL

Mann - 27 days old

Oh huh... Mann is 27 days old now.

Updated:

1) Asking for McB almost every 2 hours. Mummy tired loh!
2) Will shout when mummy a bit late to carry her when she is asking for McB.
3) Response to mummy or anyone who talking with her with the sound "oo oo.. eeg eeg.." She LOVE it.
4) Didn't poo poo for 1 1/2days and today can poo poo very "thick" poo poo 3 times in 5 hours. Must use brush to remove the poo poo.
5) Asking anyone to carry when she is awake. When you put her back to bauncer she will started cry.
6) STILL jaundice loh. Hope that tomorrow can decrease to below 200.
7) Asking to bath 2 times per day if not will start making noise.
8) Night time SURE will asking mummy to carry her till she is deep sleep before put her into baby cot.
9) Jie Jie and Kor Kor "still" love to play and talk with her, and she's response.
10) Ah Ma (my mum) asked tokong and said that Mann don't like other "seeing" her, so i wonder can i still put her photo online ah?

Oh, my God - Restitch!

As previous My nightmare during delivered u will know how bad my stitches is!

I met the Ketua Jabatan O & G, Hospital Pulau Pinang yesterday. Seem like my "command" worked! He checked on me and agree to redo the stitches on my tearing area because the stitches done before really $#@&*%... Not done properly and since i am still on leave, decided to done it as soon as possible. And i told him, NO Local Bius! I can't stand the pain!

The minor surgery will be done on next Thursday. Wish me luck!

- More problems to mummy
- Don't like Yang coz always complaint Yang disturb her a lot. Actually not,just Yang really like to FOLLOW what Jing do!
- Doing very good in her study. Will automatically do her homeworks if have after dinner.
- Loves to read, paint, attend her music class, attend Enopimath class.
- Not really love vege anymore. Why? Ah mah and Yeh Yeh said eat vege not nutrient woh,must eat more meat and fish...
- Loves Mann because Mann is a gal not a boy. She claim that boy more naughty!

Yang - 3 years 9 mths

- Still so active! Mummy so tired
- Still refuse to study/learn, but now at least willing to hold the pencil to write if in good mood.
- Love to FOLLOW jie jie, whatever jie jie dod he also want to FOLLOW.
- LOVEs vege, because mummy waqshed his brain if didn'ttake vege can't poo poo.
- Loves Mann as she is a baby!?
- Love to cry also. Anything unhappy will cry only!

Jing was so happy when i told Mann is a girl but Yang a bit dissapointed. He always expect a baby boy and asked me to get him another baby boy.

Mann is 12 days old now.

She knew...

- SMILE! But mummy not manage to take her photo yet.
- CALLING FOR MILK! By crying in loud sound.
- REFUSED TO SLEEP! Why? because she want to poo poo.
- SUDDENLY CRY VERY LOUD SOUND! When kor kor disturbing her.
- Will QUIET when anyone carry her. She enjoyed been carry by someone.
- SHOWING RESPONSE WHEN MUMMY FLASHING CARDS TO HER! She love it.

BUT...

- Poo at anytime she wants, even at 1 am, 3 am and 530am!
- Want to suck mummy "pacifier" then only can sleep! Aiya... bad habit!
- Allergic to wipe and nappy rash cream. So mummy using cotton ball with water and lotion only.

Haiya... Mann's jaundice was in increasing trend. Today is 283.9 umol/L. Tomorrowif increase to 300 then will admit. :(

2) WATER TREATMENT

Hak, finally i got my dream water treatment - eSpring! Hubby managed to put it on Saturday, the day after i get back from hospital. Nice leh?!

Again, this one also seem so "yellow"! Mummy need to bring Mann go to nearby Klinik Kesihatan almost everyday.

Day-4 - Total bilirubin : 249.6 umol(from vein)
Day-5 - Total bilirubin : 253.2 umol(from vein)
Day-7 - Total bilirubin : 267.5 umol(from feet)

So, need to repeat again tomorrow. If the trend still going up, don't know what they are going to do to Mann? I think will redo all the neccessary tests again including Liver Test Function. After that,only can confirm whether is it Pro-Long jaundice due to breastfeeding.

Hello, sorry for late update. Celcom Broadband benggung around my area!

Ok, she is now 6-day old. A very good "sucker" - refer to drinking mummy breast milk lah! She can find her "teat" by herself, drink until she is full.

First day, discharged from hosp after 12 hrs because both mummy and baby doing well. (Actually I am not doing well- refer below.) Then she didn't sleep whole first night at home. Mummy like zombie...She refuses this that... and want only "pacifier" that hang in front of mummy. Can't leave her anywhere or anyone. I felt like dying! I delivered her middle of the night, till the next day didn't get good slept leh! It’s over 36 hrs!!

Second day, after bath, still the same, cried, cried, cried... Since the weather was so hot, FIL decided not to tire her hand, leave both hand out. SHE SLEPT WITHOUT MAKING ANY NOISE! Em... At night, slept tight IF slept beside mummy not in the baby cot!

Third day, hak, she look "yellow" - jaundice liao! Aiya... kena cucuk kaki lagi or admitted under UV light. Same, WANT to sleep beside mummy. Refuse baby cot!

Forth day, busy day. Early morning, Zombie mummy need to prepare herself and baby to go to nearby Klinik Kesihatan because Baby Mann looks really very "yellow". So, her bilirubin level was 252.5mmol. Need to refer to nearby hospital. So, daddy and mummy need to rush to hospital, redo the SBC again and the level is 267. Then asked to admit. When reached wad pead, blood was drown from vein to recheck again. But pead said the reading should be lower. She asked us to go home and wait, results take time. At 330pm,they call and Mann bilirubin level was 249mmol. No need to admit. Just need to repeat at the next day. She and I were too tired. Both of us slept quite long time. hehe...

Fifth day, again return to hospital. Mann bilirubin level is 259. But still not at the dangerous level. Bottom line for day-6baby is 342. So just need to repeat after 2-day. Phew... no need to admit. One more thing, Mann didn't poopoo for 2 day liao. Nurse teaches me how to stimulate for her to poo poo. Immediately, Mann's poo! on that day in 6 hrs, she's poo 4 times with very big potion! Yak...

Sixth day, today, mommy's milk already comes for 2 days liao, Mann is latching well. I didn't feel any very pain engorgement. I managed to pump out few oz and let Yang drink it. Hehe... just mix into his oat milk, he will drink one. Still yellowish in color, full with antibodies!!

So far, I still can manage to handle her. Jing and Yang not at home, they are with my mum. Jing caught flu so I decided put them with my mum. I miss them very much! Oh... They saw their little sister through photo only. Pity ha!

NIGHT MARE!!

Ok, Now I will talk about my bad experience in Penang Maternity Hospital! My first delivered in private hosp not a good experience, second delivered in GH, better than private hospital, so this time off cause go to GH lah.

I admitted at 1 July night, due to spotted since morning but very mild contraction only. 2 July stay in GH, so boring! Contraction so irregular, sometime 10 minutes sometime 1/2 hrs... Doctor decided to discharge me if 3 July stills the same. Not ready to deliver yet. 1st class still full has to stay in 3rd class wad. Hot hot hot... I kept bath bath bath...

on 3 July, early morning (middle of the night), "pop" what a loud sound! and I feel wet! Op... water bag burst liao. I was push into labor room at 115am, because was 4 cm dilated. Knew what? they gave me a NSM ( Stuff nurse under training).

I told the NSM that I would like to have a “sit up” position but not “lay down” position. As I had a 2nd degrees tear during deliver my 1st baby at private hospital (this is why I choose government hospital but not private hospital because I believed that stuff nurse had more experiences that private hospital’s gynae – theoretical!?). After that, Dr Liew checked on me and confirmed (or teaches) NSM how to make sure the water bag was burst. Dr Liew asked her to him when it’s 6 – 7 cm. Then he walks away. NSM asked me to scream for the nurse if I am ready to deliver.

I counted the interval and the time of each contraction until it’s contracted every 1 minute and I can feel that my baby is ready to come out (ready to push). I called for the help. SN Merigani was the first person came in. I wonder how she can walk like this, so slow and no energy! I told her that I am ready to push already. Then NSM rushed in and stand beside me. SN Merigani done nothing on me and just asked me pushes. She was in “tak ada ape ape mood”! NSM wants to put me at “sit up” position was asked “NO NEED” to do so by SN Merigani. SN Merigani just stands in front of me and shout:“Mana student? Mana student?” I ready can’t stay the pain, and she told me to push. I attend the ante-natal class before, I knew how to push. Hold my leg and push with mouth close and head down. But as I said this is not my “right” position as I will leave my buttock up and cause the tearing. Another Chinese nurse was there too, she tried to ask me to put my buttock down and help me to put my buttock down. At last, I delivered my baby at 2.13am. Then SN Merigani pulls out my placenta and asks NSM to measure it. Then SN Merigani just walked away like that. She not even checked whether I had any wound and is my uterus “clean” enough?! (I still remember my previous delivery the gynae and nurse will press on my uterus to clean) NSM checked on me and told me that I had tear so I need to stitches. She said she will ask SN Merigani to stitch for me. I never knew that the tear is until my anus! I can count how many stitches done on me. When SN Merigani tried to stitch my outside skin I feel very pain, NSM told me that due to its outside skin that’s why I feel pain. Just 4 times SN Merigani stitched on my outside skin! And I knew that “Oh! Shit! Not stitch 3 layers must be very “chin chai” stitches.” NSM looked very ignorance, as she was still in the practical for kursus kebidanan, she can’t said anything, just told me that it’s a small tear only! Still I don’t have mirror I don’t know how badly my tearing and stitches! It was state at my record book as a minor tearing only! As by 03 July 2009 morning, doctor in-charge or the nurses on duty not even checked on me how “bad” my wound is because everything depend on record book only. Doctor did say I can discharge because I already urine and fake and need to wait until my baby urine and pass motion too.

At 2pm, I asked to go home because my baby already urine and pass motion. I asked the nurse on duty can I asked to be checked on my wound before I go home, and the nurse refer to the record book and told me I only had minor tearing only, don’t worry. When I return home, the first thing I done was to check my wound – its TEAR UNTUIL MY ANUS! AND U ALL CAN TELL ME IT’S JUST MINOR TEAR!!! JUST GIVING ME 2 STITCHES FOR THAT WOUND!!! I checked at my TRUSTED Clinic Doctor and he also told me the same thing – THAT SN MERIGANI DONE A VERY VERY VERY SIMPLE AND ROUGH STITCH TO ME. I WILL FACE THE BOWEL AND CONTRACTION PROBLEM AFTER RECOVER. I AM EVEN GIVEN ANY ANTIBIOTIC TOO AND IT’S INFECTION! NOW, I CAN’T EVEN USING ANY “ENERGY” TO PASS MOTION, THE SOFTEN BOWEL MEDICINE ALSO GIVEN BY PRIVATE CLINIC DOCTOR. IF NOT, I CAN’T PASS MOTION! AFTER RECOVER, I KNEW I AM GOING FACING BOWEL PROBLEM, I NEED ANOTHER SURGERY TO “STITCH” BACK MY MUSCLE OR I CAN’T BOWEL AS NORMAL!

I wonder how a Senior Stuff Nurse can do like this to me! That night not busy. I still heard the nurses’ chit chatting at the counter. I stay in the room till 430am then only they send me to my bed, since 1st class still unavailable I stay in 3rd class. I won’t mind for that. A senior stuff nurse, she suppose to teach the NSM how to done a proper job in the labor room. Is that the way what SN Merigani teaching? I feel shame as government stuff! As a lot of people giving very bad impression to government hospital, this is what and how the government stuff making the situation so bad! Be professional ok?

one more thing, I am not allowing to breastfeed my baby at the golden 1/2 hours. Mann success to latch on me after 1hrs 15 minutes!!

I already complaint until JKN Penang. I wonder what kind of action they going to take!

Still my tummy height is 37cm, didn't drop at all! Ah... i have to wait...

Her head is in lightening position, waiting to come out anytime (but it's since 36 weeks.).

And extimated weight - 3.625kgs! I feel like going to faint! Her head diameter is 11 cm! Woh...

I think i should control my diet from today onward till i deliver.

Munn is moving to 36 weeks now! Quite sometimes didn't update about her.

My Yang still wants baby boy! So what to do? I don't know yet.

Went to gynae visit last week, success pursued gynae to take 4D scan for me, but ho... Munn already in lightening position, but not yet "lock" totally in the pelvis. I can't see her face liao, moreover she faced to my back. So my gyane said:"Em... seem like your baby ask you to save that money and want to give you a surprise!" Ok, that's it! I can save RM100+!

My friends who due date supposed early than me 2 weeks, already gave birth. Seem like the percentage for Munn over due is very high. Jing over 2 weeks and Yang over 1 week.

Yesterday Jing was kena belasan kau-kau by DH, her buttock have a lot of cane scars.
Why?

I wonder it's my fault to be a working woman and left the kids with other person, such as grandparent or babysitter. Jing stay with my mum since i started to return to work. There in my mum house,my sister also left her kids. Total have 4 kids in my mum house. My mum is ok, cause i always share with her how to grow a kid follow the modern way. But my sister... she never teach her kids, her style is beat the kids and never explained! So what do you expect a kid, how much he can understand what by himself.

I noticed that Jing not really close with Yang this few weeks. I try to talk with her and explained to her, why she need to "care" to her own brother, bra...bra..bra... But ho... yesterday she did something really made daddy angry and mad!

1. Daddy bought her 2 pics of cakes. So as a caring sister sure you will share with the brother one pc, right? but no, she didn't share and she can ask Yang to eat the cake that dropped on the floor only! Ok, daddy warning her.

2. She love to paint. Daddy bought her one whole set on water color. She prefer to paint during Yang's nap, so that Yang won't disturb him. But yesterday, Yang woke up early, she didn't share too. She can purposely washed the left over color on the plate and don't let Yang to paint! even thought she haven't finish painting yet.

DH really get mad that time. Sure lah daddy caned her like mad! I was in the room, and i can't move too fast to protect her. I was so shock to hear from daddy. Actually daddy try to solve the problem by himself since he want to reduce tension on me. But tak boleh tahan! Whatever daddy or i or anyone buying something for Yang, sure Yang will ask for one more set because he wants to give it to jie jie (Jing) too. He loves his sister very much.

And because of hubby beating Jing, my FIL started a fight with hubby as Jing was his beloved grand kid.

Last night, when settle with Jing, i asked her again,can she did it to her own brother. She said can't. But she also told me that she "hates" Yang. She didn't told me why even i asked. She just told me that Jie Yi (Sister's youngest kid who same age with Yang) more cute. I just told her that she is not your own sister.

Today, FIL called me and told what he has ask Jing. And now i know why - My sister eldest daughter who is in standard 2 "ask" Jing not to be friend with Yang or she will beat her. I wonder is it true a story? But what i know from previous is Jing will follow whatever my sister's daughter say or no one can play with Jing. If my mum noticed it, she will punish the eldest one. Usually ask her to stay in the room, she is the one can't play with other.

What should i do? Told my sister? She just like hell!! I don't want to start a fight with her again, she and i being quarrel for the issue how to teach a child for several time already. Since she want to "move" her kids from my mum house, just hope so the time pass more fast. She moved to her new house and it's too far from my mum house, her MIL will take care of the kids. I really no eye see! But to my kids, if my sister still want to leave her kids with my mum, i am going to "move" Jing out from that house and to Ipoh, no matter how hard i have to take care of 3 kids!

I didn't fetch my Yang back home in this few days because i always return from work quite late and I am very tired! The swine sera sample is estimated over 10k!

Since hubby said he is coming so i decided want to bring Yang back, but ho... hubby said:"No. It's very HARD to find the ALONE time!"

It's true also,since first baby born, both of us never have ALONE time. Even travelling we brought our kids together.

Learning difficulty

Refer to Allergy, i wonder Yang's allergic was because i let him play with the snail for one whole day? Infection from snail? as snail is intermediate host for some diseases. Em... Don't know because baby sitter's husband throw away his snail and Yang was so sad about it. Poor Yang.

From that snail, Yang learn a lot of knowledge. This "gila" mummy search from book, Internet, etc. all about snail and tried to explained to Yang. I wonder he understand it or not?! Haha...

Both my kids love painting. Especially Jing. She has been asking me to buy the water color for year,just i don't think she is ready yet. But ho... she success to pursuit DH to buy for her when she went shopping with DH.

On Saturday,

Today, mummy is busy. Mummy need to go out to buy baby's things because it's Anakku sale day. I bring Yang together. When i returned... Jing is painting. Daddy said she wants to. (Actually ho, DH "lazy" to entertain her by read her a book, teach her in maths, play with her... I just knew it!) Then Yang want to join too. Both of them are first time "playing" with water colour.

Jing said DH draw her a view picture. (Ha? My DH can draw? What i knew was he always fail in act during secondary school.) But Jing still accept it.
Yang said he want a picture same as Jie Jie. I just draw for him la. But later he said he want a crocodile.

To those whom have contributed to the meals for the homeless, there is an article in The Star Metro North about the food distribution.

I have also counted the dollars and cents and come up with a rounded figure. I have RM508 balance in my hands. I do not know what I will use YOUR money for yet. There are many ways I can make sure the money goes where they are intended and that includes buying necessities and handed out to the folks who need them. My coursemates and I are thinking of making more documentaries (with the proper permissions, of course) to highlight the plight of these people so that more people can come forward and donate to their choice of charitable organisations which will benefit the poor. So, let me sit on these ideas first.

Jimmy made a short clip about our homeless video. You gotta watch it. At one point, I whacked Jimmy and told him I don’t know to laugh or cry. I find it so funny and yet, so touching that Jimmy put that much emphasis on LGE. I hope Jimmy managed to get the clip to the CM and let him see. We wanted to hijack the projector and show this clip yesterday but we were afraid of getting banned like NST reporters. LOL. So, brother, you are their only hope.

Aiyo... Mummy so tired but this lit' monster vomited on my bed last night!

He didn't have any appetite in these few days. He ate a bit only and refuse to drink water only wants something have taste.

Yesterday went to babysitter house, he ate a lot! Lit' stomach can't cope for it, so vomit la. But surprisingly he slept very very well last night.

This morning, when i was busy washing the bed sheet cover and blanket. i heard his sound...

"Mummy, Yang Yang still feeling not well. I don't want to go to school today. I want to go to aunty's house."

"ha?"

"I am very tired. My head pain (headache)and my legs too. I can't walk."

"...... OK."

Since he seem OK, but still have to monitor one more day.

I wonder why he complaint his legs pain? But wonder he was real pain or he creating it? Or may be because he didn't gained enough energy this few days? DH said must refer to doctor if he kept complaint leg pain. May be due to acid uric? Yang loves Broccoli and Dal curry.

Em... Jing was so tough. She can wake up at 630am last weekend following DH to "cheng beng". On Monday, still the same schedule - need to go to kindergarten as usual, AND without any complaint on here or there pain.

Why my Yang so weak? Babysitter said due to i am pregnant with daughter so the son will always fall sick. May be, i think.

Allergic!

Both my kids allergic to something. Jing allergic to certain foods and Yang allergic to detergent! This is the main reason i insisted want to breastfeeding, because i am allergic to detergent too. But ho... still they are allergic to it, but mild compare to me.

I thought Yang is going to 4, so decided to change his bath shampoo. Just to a usual children bath shampoo brand. About RM15 per less than 1 liter.

Update of me

For got to add, My Mann's is estimated 700g now.

I am OK now. This 2 days what i do at home? Eat and sleep! Oh... and online for a while. I didn't think of my works. RELAX!!!

The contraction seem lesser, < 5 times in a day and each time only 5 - 10 minutes.

May be due to the medicine or because i really rest a lot? Hope everything back to normal after this week.

I was Admitted!

I was admitted on Monday! My tummy was so "hard" from 11 am till 430pm and Mann's kicked so softly, so rushed to hospital. By myself. My gynae not around so decided to go to government hospital, since only my gynae and GH had my pregnancy records.

I was so lucky, no need to wait so long because the 2 patients before me have been waited for >2 hrs. Ipoh labor room was so busy on that day!

Then training doctor asked a lot of questions, took my blood samples, urine sample and vagina swabs. Then need to wait for the gynae for the ultrasound scan. BY 6 pm, my tummy still so hard! The ultrasound scan showed my baby is ok, moving and heart beat so strong. Gynae said may be due to my vagina discharged cause the contraction. She wanted me to admit and wait for the swab and urine results. BY 7pm, all done and I have to wait for hubby for admit registration.

Hubby was in KL, poor him need to rush to Ipoh because I had no other relative in Ipoh. When he reached its 10pm! Mean I sat at Dewan Bersalin from 7 to 10pm. Still haven't taken my dinner! Asked for permission to go to the attached store to buy myself a box of Milo, 2 Gardenia bread, a mineral water and a big box of soy bean. I was damn hungry, finished the Milo and 2 breads in 5 minutes!

When hubby registered me to the wad, he need to go back to my Ipoh house to get the change and needed things. Then off cause he went around the Ipoh to get me the food that I ordered. Sorry, if not I will vomit what I don't like.

I wander why this time the Braxton Hicks contraction so different? The next morning, when another specialist (I think he is the head gynae.) came and check on me, I ask him is it too soon to have Braxton Hicks? He said yes, because I am just 25 weeks pregnant and it’s started 1 ½ months ago. But if the contraction didn't follow by pain, like labor pain, it's normal. But since my contraction didn't stop for more than 6h ours, I should refer to hospital. According to the urine and vagina reports, urine was clean and normal. But vagina swab infection was 1+, it's should be normal range but due to I am pregnant may be my worm is too sensitive to the infection and trigger the non-stop contraction. I had a Candida infection during my early pregnancy. The gyane decided not giving me any antibiotic just anti-fungi insert pill. I need to return on 6 April to see how's my progress, if still the contraction continually, he will want me to admit again to find another possibility reason, because I don't have labor pain contraction, just the non-stop contraction. I asked whether because I walk too much? He said no related. I was given one week MC. Now I return to BM, at least my hubby no need to rush between BM and Ipoh. My family is here too, they can help. My false contraction still on and off, but less than 15 minutes, it’s normal.

I am also so happy, my colleagues visiting on the next day. My room was so full with them. They even scolded me why I came to hospital by myself but didn’t call for help. I said I still can manage myself. They said this is what friend is that help each other when alone in strange place. Thanks, my friends. I am so touched, especially to Prem, Nurul and Zawida! They called me to ask me what I need also, I asked for another lunch. LOL… The quantities of hospital lunch not enough! They also bring me tea break foods. BTW, thanks to my unit stuffs too, they said after i return to work i am not allow to walk just ask them to do all the works that i want to do.

Another person I want to thank is my hubby. Poor him need to rush here and there. On Monday, he forgot his dinner till after settle me into wad. It’s after 12 am! His colleague said he really rushed to Ipoh, took only 2 hours to drive from Cyber Jaya to Ipoh! I love you, darling!

Lee Mann's Progress

Seem like i didn't update about my 3rd coming baby quite sometime.

She is now 25 weeks old. Expecting come to this world at 2 July. Way to go. Mommy still can wear the nice and beautiful preggy cloths. hehe...

She kicked me a lot now. Calling mummy 1, mummy 2, mummy 3, mummy ... none stopped kicking when she "feel" she is hungry and in uncomfortable position. I wonder why my 2 girls kicked harder than boy?

She will wake up when daddy calling. In anytime! But no response when Jing and Yang called. May be this will another daddy's girl again, i think.

Gynae scanned early this month, and told me that she is developed well. He scanned her internal organ, count the leg and arm length, the head diameter... Just mummy tummy a bit low and still the tummy will harden for more 1/2 hr each day - early contraction is bad.

My appetite is getting better now. At least i have more food to choose, but still love the organic foods! I still have to make sure whatever i intake is less or free of preservative,coloring, fragrant, synthetic compound, etc..

I had plan want to take a 3D picture if Lee Mann this coming check up. My gynae charge RM50 each photo only. Hope that Mann cooperate!!

Contraction

Ah... it seem like my contraction start too soon leh...

In this 1 1/2 months, my tummy always "harden"! Not a good sign. Taking medicine liao, but seem like only can less <50%.

What should i do? I already cut down my the frequent to walk here and there. Think i should take a bed rest?

Seem like this few days "learn" how to get cranky and refuse to wake up from the bed. He want me to start talk with soft voice till load voice! Then he started to cry. %$#&@... Then i to "drag" him to brush his teeth and bath. He turn to smiling face after the bath. May be because of the cool water, i think.

Yesterday still the same thing happen. He cried till after bath. Then because of his long pants zip can't function so i changed to short pants. AH... he started to cry again! &^%$#@*... Then i started nagging to him and so beat him on his buttock lah. Cried for nothing!

I can nag from home to his nursery. He just kept on cried and cried. Actually we planned to go to restaurant for his favorite half boil egg and milo ice (not at home, although same menu.). But i told him if he still "act" like this every morning, i am not bring him to any restaurant, breakfast only at home. When i stop nagging, he stop cried. He went to nursery with very very sour face. His teacher also surprised to see him because Yang never showed sour face like this.

I think he really understand what i "nag"! Last night before go to bed (my private time with my boy.) i asked him,

"Yang, can you cried like this morning? cried for nothing only."
"Nope. (shake his head.) I naughty ah?"
"Then, do you want to repeat like this everyday?"
"Nope. Mummy get angry then." ... "If tomorrow Yang behave good, can i go to kopitiam?" (Look at me with his lovely smile. Oh...melt my heart.)
"Can. If you really behave well and wake up once i called you."
"Ok! Yeh...."

This morning,

"Yang, wake up. (in soft voice)"
"Em... (with his eyes closed.)"
"Do you want to go to kopitiam? or you want to your nen nen?"
"Em... I want nen nen. Not going kopitiam. I want to sleep for a while."
"OK then, i made nen nen for you only ha. Not going kopitiam ha."
"Hmm...(he felt to sleep again. Usually another 15 minutes before i called him again.)

Important thing: He didn't cried today.

Just can't stop myself to close my eyes... I am so so so tired... But ho, i slept at 1030pm and woke up at 7am, still not enought.

Ok, tonight going to cook energy soup(精力汤). It's chinese herbs, save to pregnancy woman. I think i should increase my protein intake liao, to gain more energy. Or i should reduce my works?? LOL

Yang still so active loh. No eye see! Just make sure he didn't hurt himself and burn the house enought.

Now, every night i read him a / several book(s), depend on his mood. Start to write? No way, he refused. He, luckily not refuse to color because this mommy like him to do matching game. All took about 1/2 to 1 hour. Then he will be in his own time and mummy too. He will draw, coloring, playing puzzle, Mr Potato, reading... Mummy continue her works, again...

AS u all know, boy loves "fixing" things. Yang also the same. I never buy toy with a lot of screws "showed out". Or after 1 hour he will try to open the toy with screw driver! :(

I been pass by this Josephine Bar and Bistro every weekday. And did read from mylovelymummy blog, she also said not bad. Actually ho... i am not dare to try unless someone recommended. Still in Ipoh already 4 years, can't find any western restaurant that "gam" to my taste. hehe...

So, beh tahan liao, went there last night for my dinner. Alone.

I ordered for myself a banana milk shake. As i love milk shake and hak.. they have banana taste one. Taste really "banana"! LOL

Appetiser
I ordered a josephine fruit bowl. It's a mix fruits topping with fresh yogurt. The yogurt taste good, just i don't like green apple.

Main dish
I having spaghettini aglio olio. Spaghetti cook with wild mushroom and extra virgil olive oil. I love the taste. Especially the mix herbs and spice make the dish more aroma.

Ok...that's all. I am full liao just gam gam. i think i will bring my kid next time. Sure both of them will love the spaghetti very much.

The price... a bit expensive loh...

TIME LIFE and Grolier

I bouth TIME LIFE Book series for my kids years ago. But Jing not interesting at all! :( (Hubby and i heart feel so "pain", spent $$$ but she not interest with it!)
But Yang started to show his interest liao! :D

Now i started to play the VCD and CD for him everyday. Instist of i made the 1 - 10 number and A to Z flash cards to him. Same as montessorimum, "suffering" teaching our son!! I used to read the books for Yang every night - bed time story using TIME LIFE or Grolier book.

Both montessorimum and i wonder why our son just can not pay attention on study leh?! May be boy different?? slow??

Hubby and i spend $$$$ on these TIME LIFE and Grolier book series. Hope that my kids really "learn" something from there. Off cause, parent need to join together lah!

I like this breast pump because i need to go out station quite often. Channel told me that Spectra 3 not bad but only thing is Spectra don't have battery option.
In Malaysia,i found that the cheapest price i can get is RM1519.20. Singapore, S$659.00 and USA,USD$200. The different is USA using 115V. Malaysia and Singapore are direct import from Switzerland.
So... which one to choose ha?

Shall i repurchase another breast pump?

I have Avent manual breast pump. Still functioning. But ho... it going to more time to pump if compare to electrical pump like medela breast pump,Spectra breast pump,and etc.

My works like never ending... i need something fast, fast, fast. But ho, electrical pump too expensive! Medela one over RM1500 and Spectra one don't know the quality yet.

So, want to buy bo leh?

My Yang now "showed" that he want to study liao. Why?

First - both teacher and i "push" him a bit.
Second - everyday will have great lecture from this ngam ngam cham cham mommy.
Third - He was so afraid that he can't drive the fire engine as i told him if he don't know how to read, he won't ever can drive the fire engine because he can't read the sign board and press any button.(evil mom!)

His improvement still very slow loh. but at least he is showing he want to study or in other ways, he can sit still to study liao. Never expect him to write yet!

Jing went to visit dentist on Saturday.

First, she was changing another tooth and second she complaint she feel pain inside when eating food. Oh...she's having teeth decay!!

She was so brave. Didn't cry at at all. But from now on she "knew" that she need to take extra good care of her own teeth. She said she hate the "em...em..." sound during dentist "grail" her tooth. haha...

What should i do leh? My Yang refused to study but not rejected to go to school.

The nursery teacher complaint to me that my Yang refused to learn. He argued with the teachers! He told his teacher that he wants to play only. :(

I am so headaches with him. Till today, maximum 3 fresh cards only!

The teacher told me that they have to push him a bit and hope that i understand. I told them please do so as i am pushing him at home too. No more toys (cars, etc) for him only reading and some educational toys (matching cards, puzzle, trace the line, etc) for him now! I have to do so. I am not expecting he become a genius but at least at his age he knew 1-10 and A to Z mah.

em... What should i do leh?

When watching news on TV about Palestine,
Yang:"Mammy, what are they doing?"
Me:"There is a war between Palestine and Israel."
Yang:"What is war?"
Me:"War mean two country or more fight each other for something."

I really beh tahan liao!!!

My father-in-law retired almost 2 years. At first, he really help me a lot, but now... i knew he love Jing more than Yang, but please don't "showed" it in front of they two. I can "feel" it, i bet the kids will feel it too!

What i beh tahan one more thing is he like to disturb Yang. When i tried to ask Yang to do something which i am trying my best to improve his concentration, he will come and disturb Yang! Spoilt everything lah...

Jing, pulak... when return from school, first thing i want my kids to do is to bath. Then ho... This Yeh Yeh will ask no to bath first and let Jing do whatever she want to do - sit in front of TV!!! When he is at home, the TV is 24 hours on!

If i am on leave at home, i will fetch Jing by myself. Around 530pm. He knew it. But purposely he went out at 515pm and asked me to on Channel 613 because Yang can watch it after woke up from afternoon nap. with nobody around st home. can you image?

I wonder why he act like this recently? too relax? if he really don't want to help, please tell me. So, i think i really need a maid as soon as possible.

Genting Trip during CNY - day 2

Day 2 in Awana Genting.

First, early morning 7am everyone needs to wake up. Because 830am having Lion dance in front the hotel.

Mum:"Yang, wake up loh. Lion dance is waiting for you."
Yang immediately opened his eye and said:" I want to bath and change!"
See, the power of Lion dance.
Jing... I need to "shake" her or she "can't" hear anything’s!!

Then we went Rajawali for breast fast. Then Yang just can't wait to go. His Ku Ku (Hubby's cousin) has to bring him along, although she needs to work. She is charged the Lion dance presentation.

I never expected that I can saw the fire cracker. Now my kid knows what “放鞭炮” is! Yang was so frighten. Jing is big girl now, she enjoy it very much.

Jing and Yang were so enjoying with the Lion Dance. Both of them followed the Lion from front to the back and to the front again! And both of them need others to carry. Definitely not me, I have backup groups. hehe...

After that we went to Genting theme part. First off cause looking for lunch. everywhere were so crowded! only one place seems so less person - The Mamak Store. And that's the cheapest meal in Genting compare to the others.

Then we went to watch Happy Shoaling Legend. Hubby's cousin in charge this project too, so FOC. It's a musical show. Yang falls to sleep after 15 minutes! Jing enjoying it a lot till today still discuss about it.

After the Happy Shoaling Legend show, we need to wait until 9pm for the Dreamz. So we separate into 2 groups, one to Casino and another one to accompany the kids to play indoor game.

Jing and Yang play N time with the games. Per ride is RM8 but per day is only RM28 for kid. So clouded it's the good time to teach our kid to Q-up before playing and game. But some of the parents just missed this good chance they were so rude! I just can't tahan!!

Then we went to food court to have our dinner. Brother-in-law treat us a nice dinner because he won some money from Uncle Lim.

It's time to go watch Dreamz. Jing and Yang so excited. They had been waiting days for the white tiger and white lion. Yang just can't wait for the show to start! We sat at the 3rd row from front. So clear! Jing and Yang just... wah...

Then, both of them asked to take a photo with the white tiger. Daddy has to pay RM60 just for one 8R photo.

After the photo section, those two kids still want to play. So, once a year let them play till they tired. By that time its 12am liao.

Em... Jing and Yang were so satisfied!

When kids brushing teeth

When your kid is brushing their teeth, will you help them?

I let my kids brushed by theirself, after 3 minutes, is my turn to brush their teeth. Am i doing anything wrong? I just want to make sure they don't have any dental decay. Because i don't have a set of healthy teeth mah!

My mum and father-in-law, even my sister always bra...bra...bra... to me. Said must asked them to brushed by themself why should i "add" one more work to myself? em... I said they still young mah, won't know clean enough bo!

Genting Trip during CNY - 1

OK,this year a bit different. Whole family (with DH's aunt family) went to Genting during 1st day of CNY, because DH's cousin can't come home during CNY, need to work as she handled the Happy Shaolin project.

We stay in Awana. Quick nice. Apartment type, so that we can cook ourselves. Chinese must having dinner together during CNY and eat at home can chit chat longer time mah.

First day, due to check in at 3pm so we didn't went to Genting Theme Part just went to Temple Cheng Swee after gathering dinner.

Yang was so excited because he never watch any "show" from China. LOL Yang so "ang mo"!

Luckily the weather was so nice, we can see the view very nice. And there have exhibition selling things from China, some local reptiles and local organic and herbs store. We bought some organic fruits and herbs. I love the organic ginger, very nice, less fibre and very big.
